What a nasty cancer this is..... I have had 2 of my rescue boys present with this.
I am by no means an expert on testicular cancer, but will share with you what I know.
1. An un-desexed male dog has an 80% higher chance of getting testicular cancer.
2. This type of cancer's fuel source is carbohydrates. There is a special diet food - Hills N/D . Dog bikkies are out, as is the morning piece of toast.....
3. Heaps of anti oxidants in his diet is beneficial, such as: veggies, garlic and fish. Might not do much for his breath tho'
4. Eventhough I did all this, I lost my boys about 2 years after surgery. This type of cancer has a history of moving to the liver.
Do I regret rescuing these old boys with a known cancer? HELL NO !!!! Although years on, I still think of them daily and miss them dearly.
