I missed this one. I am always reading up on new prospective advances in canine cancer. Hopefully one of the oncologists might comment on the article. |

This is the beginning of personalised cancer treatment. The application of it is still a few years away I suspect. In people so far the use of individual antibodies has not been as successful as hoped, but plays a part in a few specific circumstances. As part of a multi-pronged attack, developments like this should allow for our pets to have a higher chance of remission and longer duration in remission. There will be many more similar developments over the next few years I suspect... |
