HI All, my beautiful dog Nick was so lethargic one day I thought I would monitor him for a few days, about day 3 I was very concerned about him and took him to Padburn Vet Clinic, Vet, Alan Roberts diagnosed him immediately with Lymphoma (Cancer of the Lymph nodes), I dont know if it was anywhere else in his body at the time, I immediately asked for the best specialist in Perth and was referred to Dr Ken Whyatt. Nick and I went to see him and started his chemotherapy sessions immediately, I spent many days / months running Nick back and forth and waiting for him, I just loved him so much I would have done anything to save his life, no expense was spared, he would come out with his little cancer bandana around his neck, tail wagging, so happy to see me, on the car rides home, he would hang his head out the window, wind blowing in his face, it was a very special time for us. Nick died 9 months after treatment started, i believe it was 9 months I would not have had with him if we didnt try to save his life. He was playing happily at home with my husband and his ball when he simply stopped, lay down and passed away very peacefully and quickly, without pain, he didnt have time to be scared as it was so quick. Nick was cremented by Lawnswood and his ashes returned to his home where they remain with me always. What a great site and idea not only to draw attention to the subject, but im sure in time to act as a support for people who loose their animals to cancer. I wish you all the best
